Jared is jokingly threatened with a monthly deduction from his salary, due to the many long hours he spends at FLC. He is an extremely hardworking and dedicated lawyer, who leaves no stone unturned in the preparation of a case. He has worked with Mr. Ramlogan SC on high profile matters where he provided yeoman service as both instructing and junior counsel. He is extremely competent and provides advice to many corporate and private clients.
He has been involved in litigation in the British Virgin Islands, St Lucia, St Kitts and Nevis in cases before the Privy Council and the Court of Appeal. He is a perfectionist and valuable resource to our litigation team.

Sumayyah brings a distinctive combination of expertise in Law and Information and Communication Technology. As a double-scholarship recipient, Sumayyah has demonstrated excellence in both academic and professional realms. She is a member of the Honourable Society of Lincoln’s Inn, UK, and was called to the Bar of England and Wales, having successfully completed the Barrister Vocational Training program at City University, London. Prior to her barrister training, Sumayyah obtained a Bachelor of Laws degree with Upper Second Class Honours from BPP Law School, London.
Sumayyah actively works with Anand Ramlogan SC and other attorneys on various legal matters and specializes in Public Law, Constitutional Law, Defamation, Civil Litigation, Employment Law, Judicial Review, Breach of Contract and Medical Negligence.
Sumayyah has a strong analytical background and worked extensively as a Systems Analyst in the public service before entering the legal field. She holds undergraduate and postgraduate degrees in Computer Science and Management Information Systems and her multidisciplinary expertise enhances her ability to dissect legal matters with precision.

Sharon’s career actually began as a Law Clerk in 1993 before fully embracing her legal career, she demonstrated her expertise in business management and development across various industries. She has held numerous key positions, including General Manager, Business Development Manager, Director at several notable organizations such as the Trinidad and Tobago International Financial Centre and Management Company and two others. Additionally, she served as a Marketing Manager, Sales Manager, Business Development Executive and as a Financial Advisor.
Sharon’s educational background is equally impressive. She holds a Legal Practice Course (LPC) and a Master of Business and Law from the University of Law, a Bachelor of Law (LLB) from the University of London, and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the Australian Institute of Business. Additionally, she has obtained several certifications in marketing and corporate governance, enhancing her multifaceted expertise.

Sue Ann Deosaran is a distinguished legal professional with a robust academic foundation and extensive practical experience. Recently, she joined Freedom Law Chambers in December 2023, where she has been gaining valuable expertise in medical negligence and public law.
Sue Ann earned her Legal Education Certificate from Hugh Wooding Law School, where she excelled both academically and in extracurricular activities. She served as the Welfare Officer of the Student Representative Council and was a dedicated member of the Intervarsity Christian Fellowship. Additionally, she contributed to the HWLS Magazine, ‘The Gavel,’ and actively participated in the General Legal Aid Clinic.
Prior to her tenure at Freedom Law Chambers, Sue Ann obtained her Bachelor of Laws with Upper Second Class Honours from the University of the West Indies, St. Augustine. Her outstanding performance landed her on the Dean’s Honour Roll, and she served as a Senior Student Mentor. She was deeply involved in various committees, such as the Charity and Outreach Committee and the Education and Moot Committee, and also participated in the UWIAATT Mentorship Program.
